Senate Leader Harry Reid Takes Parting Shot at FBI Boss

The outgoing Senate Democratic leader takes a parting shot at the FBI director.

FOX’s Jared Halpern has more from Capitol Hill:

In likely his final news conference here at the Capitol, retiring Senate Democratic Leader Harry Reid again laid blame for Hillary Clinton’s election day defeat on FBI director James Comey:

(Comey) “He became such a partisan that he should become the new chair of the RNC, okay?”

Reid and other Democrats were critical of Comey’s public statements about the FBI’s review of Clinton’s email server investigation less than two weeks before the election.

Reid also tells reporters he thinks Russian President Vladimir Putin is clearly involved with the cyberattacks targeting Democratic party officials.
