Intelligence Committee Cancels Meeting Due to Russia Hack Investigation

House Republicans are slamming the intelligence community for refusing to brief the Intelligence Committee on the investigation into alleged Russian hacking and interference in the election.

FOX’s Rachel Sutherland reports from Washington:

The Intelligence Community wants to wait to brief Congress until after they wrap up an investigation requested by the White House, forcing the House Intelligence Committee to cancel a planned briefing today.

Trump transition adviser Kellyanne Conway tells FOX and Friends the situation reveals disagreement among intelligence officials and she cautioned about leaks:

(Conway) “People should recognize that there’s unsourced, unnamed quotes flying around.”

Republican New York Congressman Peter King is accusing the intelligence community of trying to put a cloud over the election.
