Pennsylvania Recount Halted

A federal judge has rejected a request for a recount of the presidential election ballots in Pennsylvania.

FOX’s Tonya J. Powers has more:

U.S. district judge Paul Diamond’s rejection of the request to recount paper ballots in Pennsylvania’s presidential election is the latest roadblock for the Green Party.

The party also wanted to scan some counties’ election systems for signs of hacking. The push is part of a broader effort by Green Party presidential candidate Jill Stein to recount votes in Michigan, Pennsylvania and Wisconsin.

President-elect Trump won all three states narrowly over Democrat Hillary Clinton. A federal judge also stopped Michigan’s recount, and the Wisconsin recount is expected to be finished today.
