President-elect Trump Tabs Elaine Chao as Sec. of Transportation
Another Trump Cabinet pick has been announced and it is not the first cabinet position for the pick.
FOX’s Jon Decker has the update from the White House:
FOX News has learned Former labor secretary Elaine Chao is the pick to be President-elect Donald Trump’s secretary of transportation.
Chao, the wife of Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell, was the first Asian American woman to hold a cabinet-level position, serving under George W. Bush.
Earlier today, Trump’s transition team formally announced the selection of House Budget Committee Chairman Tom Price as secretary of health and human services, a choice that was immediately criticized by Democrats.
Mr. Trump will meet this evening with Mitt Romney, who is still in the running for Secretary of State.
