Bob Dylan Won’t Be Able to Attend Nobel Prize Ceremony

Bob Dylan will be a no-show at the Nobel Prize ceremony next month.

FOX’s Dave Anthony reports:

When Bob Dylan surprisingly won the Nobel Prize for literature last month, we all wanted to know:

(Dylan) “How does it feel?”

But for days:

(Dylan) “The answer my friend is blowin’ in the wind.”

Then the legendary singer-songwriter finally said the award left him speechless. Now Dylan says he won’t go pick up the prize at the Dec. 10 ceremony in Stockholm:

(Dylan) “Me I’m still on the road headed for another joint.”

Dylan says he wishes he could be there personally, but has other commitments. The Swedish Academy says it’s looking forward to Dylan’s Nobel lecture which he must hold, according to the prize requirements within six months of the ceremony.
