“New Life” Brings a Grandfather’s Inspiring Story to the Big Screen

If you’re looking for a feel-good film to see, you may want to check out “New Life” out Friday. Drew Waters, former “Friday Night Lights” star, makes his directorial debut. Waters gets some help from actress-screenwriter Erin Bethea, a pastor’s daughter and former Disney princess. Bethea is best known to fans from the hit movie “Fireproof,” the number one independent film of 2008.

Together the two bring Waters’ grandfather’s amazing story to life on screen.
