Trending: Tom Hanks Does “Big” Rap, Ron Howard Dances
A Hollywood star surprises fans with a throwback tune.
FOX’s Krystin Goodwin has the details:
Actor Tom Hanks gaining online praise. If you remember the 1988 film “Big” Hanks starred in, you may remember this:
(Hanks) “Shimmy shimmy cocoa pop, shimmy shimmy rock. Shimmy shimmy cocoa pop, shimmy shimmy rock. I met a girlfriend, a triscuit.”
28 years later, Hanks still knows this rap by heart.
YouTube filmmakers Wesley Chan and Phillip Wang caught up with Hanks and director Ron Howard at the premier of the film “Inferno” in Florence, Italy.
They asked the “Sully” star to do the famous rap with them and he did not skip a beat:
(Hanks) “Ooooo Shalida, walking down the street 10 times a week. I met it, I said it. I stole my momma’s credit. I’m cool, I’m hot, sock you in the stomach three more times.”
Ron Howard looks impressed and so are many online.
