Lady Gaga’s latest single off her new album ‘Joanne’ certainly sounds country:

(Lady Gaga) “Tearin’ up the gravel.”

But ”A-YO” doesn’t just borrow for that Nashville sound, it also has one of country’s hottest songwriters at its center, Hillary Lindsey, who penned ‘Girl Crush’ and ‘Jesus Take the Wheel’, helped Gaga write “A-YO” with Mark Ronson and BloodPop.

It’s no secret Gaga likes country recently she told Rolling Stone Country that she loves country music, especially Johnny Cash and Garth Brooks. In 2014, Gaga attended a Brooks concert and posed for a photo with him and his wife Trisha Yearwood.

Speaking of Garth, he announced his new album will be titled ‘Gunslinger’ and its release date is set for Nov. 11 as part of the 10-disc box set: ‘The Ultimate Collection’.

Brooks also released the first single “Baby, Let’s Lay Down and Dance”. Trisha posted the song on Garth’s Facebook while singing along to the pop tune.
