Adolf Hitler’s Original Home to be Demolished
The house Adolf Hitler’s was born will be torn down.

Hitler’s birth house has given Austrian authorities headaches for years. It’s become something of a tourist attraction for a few neo-Nazis.
The Austrian Interior Ministry now saying it’s going to make a clean break, demolishing the building and replacing it with something else, possibly a home for a charity or simply the local authorities.
The house was privately-owned for decades, but the owner refused to sell it to the government. So lawmakers moved earlier this year to seize it.
