One University is Providing Counseling on Halloween

Halloween isn’t what it used to be on at least one college campus.

FOX’s Tom Rigatti explains:

The University of Florida is announcing they’ll have a counselor at the ready if students are traumatized by any costumes they see on Halloween.

We’re not talking about from being frightened, but rather offended. The University’s web site says “if you choose to participate in Halloween activities, we encourage you to think about your choices of costume.”

Some reinforce stereotypes of particular races, genders, cultures, or religions. It goes on “if you are troubled by an incident that does occur, please know that there are many resources available.”

And that includes a counselor who’s available 24/7.
