It’s the Most Wonderful Time of the Year: Holiday Push Begins for Stores

    A lot of Americans are ready to make some extra money for the holidays.

    FOX’s Dave Anthony reports:

    I know it’s not even Halloween yet, but get ready to hear this in stores soon:

    Retailers are stocking up and in hiring mode and with online shopping predicted to increase by as much as ten percent this year, Amazon is going to add even more holiday workers, 120,000 in 27 states. 

    That’s 20 percent more than last Fall, compared to Kohl’s, Macy’s, and Target which plan to hire about the same amount of seasonal workers.

    The National Retail Federation forecasts overall sales in November and December to rise 3.6 percent, up from three percent a year ago.
