President Obama Will Participate in 9/11 Ceremony

    The President this weekend will take part in a ceremony at the Pentagon marking the 15th anniversary of the 9/11 attacks.

    FOX’s Jon Decker has more from the White House:

    With the anniversary of the 9/11 attacks just days away, the White House announcing that President Obama will deliver remarks at a Pentagon ceremony on Sunday.

    Defense Secretary Ash Carter and Gen. Joseph Dunford, the chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, will also attend the ceremony.

    Nearly 3,000 people were killed in New York City, Pennsylvania and at the Pentagon during terrorist attacks carried out by al-Qaida.

    184 people died at the Pentagon when a hijacked American Airlines jetliner slammed into building in Arlington, Virginia, just outside Washington.
