Former Attorney General Alberto Gonzales On Advising President Bush After 9/11
Former Attorney General under President George W. Bush, Alberto Gonzales, joined Kilmeade & Friends to discuss his new book “True Faith and Allegiance: A Story of Service and Sacrifice in War and Peace”. Gonzales reflected on how his role as advisor to President Bush changed after 9/11 and the controversies surrounding the Bush administration’s techniques in handling the aftermath of 9/11, including, enhanced interrogation and intelligence gathering. Gonzales also discussed the importance his faith played after 9/11, dealing with illegal immigration and why he is happy the Obama administration has continued many of the Bush era policies. Plus, Gonzales weighs in on the investigation into Hillary Clinton’s private e-mail server and the upcoming election.
