Former Attorney General Alberto Gonzales On Advising President Bush After 9/11
Former Attorney General under President George W. Bush, Alberto Gonzales, joined Kilmeade & Friends to discuss his new book “True Faith and Allegiance: A Story of Service and Sacrifice in War and Peace”. Gonzales reflected on how his role as advisor to President Bush changed after 9/11 and the controversies surrounding the Bush administration’s techniques in handling the aftermath of 9/11, including, enhanced interrogation and intelligence gathering. Gonzales also discussed the importance his faith played after 9/11, dealing with illegal immigration and why he is happy the Obama administration has continued many of the Bush era policies.
