Clinton Vows to Never Put Troops in Syria
It’s been a long time but Democratic Presidential candidate Hillary Clinton has broken her press conference silence.
FOX’s Jon Decker explains from the White House:
In her first full- blown press conference in 278 days, Hillary Clinton, the Democratic Presidential nominee, defended her vow made last night in an NBC candidate forum to never put ground troops in Iraq again and to never put ground troops in Syria:
(Clinton) “In fact I think it would fulfill one of their dearest wishes, which is to drag the United States back into a ground war in that region.”
Clinton, who called Donald Trump undisciplined, ignored the fact that there currently close to 4,500 U.S. troops in Iraq and roughly 300 U.S. Special Operations forces on the ground in Syria.
