Two U.S. Senators won their primary challenges on Tuesday.

FOX's Tonya J. Powers has the story:

Senators Marco Rubio and John McCain kept their challengers at bay in yesterday's primary elections. Rubio thanked the crowd that gathered in Kissimmee, Florida:

(Rubio) "Let's get to work. We're gonna win in November. We'll turn America around, we'll get this right once and for all. Thank you and God bless you, thank you."

He will defend his seat against two-term Democrat Congressman Patrick Murphy in November. McCain defeated his opponents by more than 10 percentage points:

(McCain) "You have given me a chance to continue serving Arizona. Thank you from the bottom of my heart."

Now, McCain faces a general election challenge from Democrat representative Ann Kirkpatrick.
