Hot Fun in the Summertime… Real Hot in July!

    The heat felt across the globe last month smashes a record.

    FOX’s Pam Puso has more:

    July is Earth’s hottest month and scientists say this past July was the hottest month ever recorded. Records date back to 1880.

    According to calculations by the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration, last month’s average global temperature was just over 62 degrees, that tops the old record set in July of 2015 by 1/9 of a degree.

    January through July is also beating out 2015 for hottest year to date.
