Trump to Receive Classified Intelligence Brief

A first expected tomorrow for the Donald Trump campaign.

FOX’s Jared Halpern has more from Washington:

FOX has confirmed the Republican nominee will receive his first classified intelligence briefing, the Director of National Intelligence traditionally offers briefings to presidential nominees of major parties.

Donald Trump’s first briefing is expected to happen at a secure location at the FBI’s New York field office.

The campaign will work with the intelligence community on coordinating briefings, potentially to set up additional sessions and work on topics of interest to the candidate.

Candidates do not need security clearance for the briefings, they qualify simply because they secured the nomination.
