Boxer Arrested Ahead of Rio Olympics

Crime has been in the spotlight in Rio ahead of the Olympics, the newest incident, though, includes allegations against an athlete.

FOX’s Chris Hoenig is in Olympic Park:

22-year-old Hassan Saada has been arrested, accused of trying to rape two Brazilian hotel employees in the athletes’ village. The incident reportedly happened on Wednesday and also includes allegations that he groped the women and made obscene hand gestures during his assault.

The Moroccan boxer will be kept in custody for 15 days as police investigate the claims. Saada is a light heavyweight, and was scheduled to take on Turkey’s Mehmet Nadir in his first bout Saturday.
