Actor David Huddleston Dead

A comic actor known for his roles in “Blazing Saddles” and the Big Lebowski has died.

The man who played the “Big Lebowski” opposite Jeff Bridges, Lebowski aka the dude in the Coen brothers 1998 film has died…

David Huddleston had a career that spanned several decades with more than 60 films… that included the Mel Brooks comedy classic “Blazing Saddles”, “Smokey and the Bandit 2” and the 1985 “Santa Claus” film, in which he played the title character.

The 85-year-old portly actor died Tuesday of heart and kidney disease in Santa Fe, New Mexico. One of his last onscreen appearances came in 2010 as Danny DeVito’s old business partner on “It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia”.
