Rep. Congressman Takes a Shot at Donald Trump
Donald Trump isn’t just facing negative ads from Democrats. A Republican member of Congress is promising to stand up to the GOP nominee.
FOX’s Jared Halpern has more from Washington:
Four-term Colorado congressman Mike Coffman takes a direct approach in a political ad airing this week in his Denver-area district
(Coffman) “People ask me, what do you think of Trump? Honest, I don’t care for him much.”
In the 30 second spot Coffman says he also doesn’t trust Hillary Clinton:
(Coffman) “So if Donald Trump is the President, I’ll stand up to him. Plain and simple. And if Hillary wins, I’ll hold her accountable every step of the way.”
Coffman, a former Marine, also has a version of the same commercial speaking in Spanish.
