Russia Rejects E-Mail Hack Claim
Russia is denying claims its behind the cyber attack that led to the resignation of DNC Chair Debbie Wasserman Schultz.
FOX’s Simon Owen reports from the European bureau:
Russia rejecting Hillary Clinton’s suggestion that it hacked the Democratic Party’s emails. President Vladimir Putin’s spokesman calling the allegations: absurd pre-election rhetoric.
Dmitry Peskov telling reporters it is wrong to accuse Russia of wrongdoing when the facts aren’t known. Russia’s theory: the spokesman saying the Americans are attempting to cover up the fact that their election campaign has been manipulated at home.
It’s been suggested Russia would welcome a Donald Trump victory in November. But officially the country is neutral.
