A historic night for the country on Day 2 of the Democratic National Convention in Philadelphia.
FOX's Tonya J. Powers reports from Philadelphia:
When the roll was called, and the delegates tallied, Hillary Clinton came out on top, closing out the night by video:
(Clinton) "We just put the biggest crack in that glass ceiling yet. Thanks to you and everyone that has fought to make this possible. This is really your victory."
It was a night for making history, with Clinton becoming the first woman to be nominated for President by a major party.
Here's a little more history for you: President Obama will speak tonight, 12 years to the day he gained widespread political recognition for his speech at the DNC as a state senator.
