Dentist on Vacation Survives Shark Attack in Bahamas

A Texas dentist is recovering after being bitten by a particularly large set of teeth.

FOX’s Tom Graham reports:

Doctor Steven Cutbirth of Waco says he’ll continue his vacation in the Bahamas despite being attacked by a bull shark while spear fishing:

(Cutbirth) “And all of a sudden, it felt like a truck hit me in the face.” 

Recounting the attack on his Facebook page:

(Cutbirth) “And I turned around and I could see that white underside of his mouth and those teeth.”

Cutbirth suffering bites to his face and leg:

(Cutbirth) “Blood all over the place.”

A local nurse on Green Turtle Cay Island, stitching the dentist up after the attack.
