Extreme Weather Affecting Midwest

    It’s a mess in parts of the Northwest tornado cleanup and torrential rains that washed out roads from Minnesota to Michigan.

    FOX’s Jeff Monosso reports:

    Wisconsin governor Scott Walker declaring a state of emergency in eight northern counties after heavy rains caused flooding, power outages, and washed out roads.

    Two people died in floods in Bayfield and Iron Counties.

    (Resident) I grabbed a five gallon bucket and started shoveling it into the back room. Well I couldn’t keep up with it.

    (Resident) Puddles are gone, now we got a lake.

    She’s in Aitkin County, Minnesota.

    Amid continued flood warnings along the Mississippi as Litchfield and Watkins in Central Minnesota clean up from EF2 tornadoes. 

    An EF1 twister also struck Bessemer in western upper Michigan toppling trees causing power outages and more flooding with the National Weather Service expecting more severe weather threats in the coming days.
