Vigil Held for Officers Slain in Dallas

More than a thousand people showed up for a candlelight vigil for the five Dallas police officers murdered last week. There will be a memorial today.

FOX’s Gurnal Scott in Dallas reports:

The city of Dallas turned out last night to light candles and hear more about the fallen officers from fellow officers closest to them. Sgt. Michael Smith’s partner, Senior Corporal Marcella St. John, said they often talked about choices in their down time.

( St. John) Good versus evil….righteous versus unjust. Mike always…always…chose the path of righteousness.

Following today’s interfaith service, the President and Vice President plan to meet privately with the families before returning to Washington.
