Chipotle Exec Grilled in Drug Bust

A Chipotle executive is on the grill.

    FOX’s Pat O’Neill has more:

Chipotle’s Mark Crumpacker has been charged with seven counts of possession of a controlled substance.

The 53-year-old chief marketing officer was arrested in a drug sting operation, allegedly asking several times for cocaine to be delivered to his New York City apartment.

He was said to be among 18 customers in a cocaine ring named in the indictment. Crumpacker, who reportedly received more than $4 million in compensation last year, has been placed on administrative leave by the company.

It’s the latest setback for Chipotle. Crumpacker was one of those leading the food chain’s marketing efforts to recover from a recent E. coli outbreak that hurt sales.
