You Just Tied the Knot… What’s Next?
After you get married, where do you want to go on the honeymoon? It’s a tough choice, but with help from a travel expert those decisions are easier.
FOX’s Ashley Papa has a special Wedding edition of “FOX on Love”:
First comes love, then comes marriage, then comes the honeymoon! But how do you decide where to go with your new husband or wife?
Travel and lifestyle expert, Francesca Page, says depending on the couples’ preference, there are many options for newlyweds:
(Page) “Beach trips really help you let go, especially post the wedding mayhem. They’re kind of ideal. Spots like the beautiful Caribbean islands like Aruba are a good choice.”
In addition to the beach, Page says couples are opting for European city trips and more adventurous honeymoons with hiking and zip-lining. It really depends on how much relaxation the newlyweds want:
(Page) “Do you want to see a million museums or lie by a pool for the week and I always suggest starting your trip with some r and r at a comfortable spot before booking in all the sightseeing.”
It’s important to check the weather of your desired destination and keep in mind that if you only have five days to honeymoon, you don’t want to spend two full days in transit and always save time for a little love.
