Clinton Receives Major Endorsement
Presumptive Democratic Presidential Nominee Hillary Clinton has secured the endorsement of America’s largest labor federation.
FOX’s Gurnal Scott has the story:
A 20-second spot on the AFL CIO’s Twitter feed made their support official:
(AFL CIO) “And together we are with her.”
In a statement, AFL CIO President Richard Trumka called Clinton a leader who “shares our values”. Labor’s ultimate endorsement of Clinton was somewhat slow in coming. Primarily because of support in some circles for Vermont Senator Bernie Sanders.
Labor leaders say they see GOP’s presumptive nominee, Donald Trump as a threat to working families. Even with his high support from blue-collar workers in the primaries.
