NRA Welcomes Meeting with Donald Trump
Republican White House hopeful Donald Trump says he’s going to have a meeting with the National Rifle Association.
FOX’s Rachel Sutherland reports from Washington:
Trump tweeted that he’s meeting with gun rights organization to discuss not allowing people on the terror watch list or the no fly list to buy guns.
Democrat West Virginia Senator Joe Manchin agrees with that idea:
(Manchin) ”I think all of us can agree that if you’re on a no-fly list, should be on a no-buy list? No fly, no buy.”
Trump’s announcement comes days after the worst terror attack on U.S. soil since 9-11.
The NRA has endorsed Trump for President. There’s no word yet on a time or a place for the meeting.

I will be meeting with the NRA, who has endorsed me, about not allowing people on the terrorist watch list, or the no fly list, to buy guns.

Happy to meet @realdonaldtrump. Our position is no guns for terrorists—period. Due process & right to self-defense for law-abiding Americans
