Man Presumed Dead after Falling in Yellowstone Hot Spring

Yellowstone National Park is famous, among other things, for it’s hot springs. But those springs may have taken a life.

    FOX’s Jeff Monosso has more:

A witness report seeing a man in his 20’s walking off a boardwalk and falling into a hot spring near Norris Geyser Basin in Yellowstone National Park yesterday.

The area is currently closed with park rangers treating the incident as a probable fatality because the victim has not been located.

The rangers are using extreme caution as they respond given the hazards of the thermal area. Some hot springs in Yellowstone National Park can reach temperatures close to 200 degrees.

Earlier this week, a father and son were burned by a hot pool in Yellowstone. They’re okay.
