Parents off the Hook in Harambe the Gorilla Killing

They’ve been vilified by some online, but the parents of the little boy in the Cincinnati Zoo incident will not be charged.

FOX’s Jeff Monosso has the story from our Midwest bureau:

No charges will be filed against the mother of the three-year-old boy who fell May 28 into the Cincinnati Zoo’s gorilla exhibit before Harambe, a 17-year-old gorilla, violently dragged the boy and was later shot and killed with prosecutor Joe Deters also saying:

(Deters) “I’ve been a bit taken back by some folks moral equivalence of human life and animal life.”

That response to recent social media outrage demanding criminal charges, even death threats toward the family.

The three-year-old boy meantime is doing fine.
