Blake Shelton’s Album ‘If I’m Honest’ Hits No. 1 on the Country Charts
Country music’s Blake Shelton is having a big week and Darius Rucker kicks off the unofficial CMA Music Fest.

Honesty is the best policy and it seems to working for Blake Shelton, the country stars newest album, ‘If I’m Honest’ has debuted at No. 1 on the charts, earning Shelton the top spot on Billboard’s Top Country and Album Sales charts. It’s his third consecutive to hit No. 1 giving him the second-biggest debut week of his career.
Shelton released a statement saying, ”At almost 40-years-old and 15 years in this business, who would’ve ever thought I would have the biggest week of my career now. No. 1 album, No. 1 song and No. 1 movie, I am beside myself, my friends. Thank you for an incredible journey.” Shelton voices a character, in the Angry Birds movie.
Darius Rucker will provide the unofficial kickoff to CMA Music Fest for the seventh straight year with a star-studded show at downtown Nashville’s Wildhorse Saloon June 6 with performances by Charley Pride, Hunter Hayes, Drake White, Terri Clark, LOCASH and Scotty McCreery.
