A chance to own a piece of Olympic history, if you have some serious cash.

FOX's Chris Hoenig reports:

He's one of the best-known players from one of sport's best-known games...

(Al Michaels) "Five seconds left in the game... Do you believe in miracles? Yes!"

'Miracle on Ice' goalie Jim Craig is auctioning off his gold medal from the 1980 Winter Games in Lake Placid:

(Craig) "In 1980 there were a bunch of players and coaches who thought the challenge was too difficult and decided to pass because they thought it would hurt their career. And what was that challenge? It was to represent your country and win a gold medal for the United States of America."

The gold medal is expected to sell for $1.5 to $2 million.

It's part of a lot of 17 items Craig is selling off, including the jersey he wore in that game against the Soviet Union. The whole lot is expected to bring between $5 and $7-million.
