The 2016 NFL season is the least of Johnny Manziel's worries. The once college football star has been officially charged with a domestic crime.
FOX's Jared Max has more on the story:
Johnny football is now Johnny indicted.
The man who won college football's most prestigious honor, the Heisman Trophy, four years ago is now facing the possibility of spending up to one year in jail for allegedly assaulting his ex-girlfriend, Colleen Crowley, in late January. Crowley told police she was struck so hard that she temporarily lost hearing in one ear.
She was granted a protective order against Manziel, who was not arrested for the alleged attack, instead, Dallas police referred the case to a grand jury, which officially indicted Johnny Manziel, who in 2016 has been cut by the Cleveland Browns, two agents, his marketing agency, and Nike.
