Poll: Americans are Feeling the Bern: Bernie Sanders is More Well-Liked Than Remaining Candidates
He may be lagging in the delegate count, but Bernie Sanders is winning in the “likability” column.
FOX’s Tonya J. Powers has the story:
Bernie Sanders is still behind when it comes to the all-important delegate count, but he’s more well-liked than the other candidates, Democrat and Republican alike.
According to a new AP-GFK poll, his positive numbers are at 48%, the best in the field. And unlike the others, he’s doing better as more Americans get to know him.
Sanders has now won seven of the past eight state contests, but still has to get 68% of the remaining delegates for the Democrat nomination.
Hillary Clinton remains the candidate viewed by the most Americans as able to win a general election, with 82% saying she could capture the White House.
Just six in ten say that of Sanders or Republican Donald Trump.
