Philadelphia 76ers Pick up 10th Win of Season, 1972-73 Team Still Owns Worst Record in History
It has not been the best year for the Philadelphia 76ers.
FOX’s Jared Max explains:
When the Philadelphia 76ers lost their first 18 games of this NBA season, they put themselves in position to finish with even fewer wins than the 76ers team that had posted the worst record in NBA history 43 years ago.
But, the modern day Sixers are safe. Last night they defeated the New Orleans Pelicans, Philadelphia’s first win in 13 games and its tenth win of the season, one more victory than the 1972-73 76ers.
On the flip side, the Golden State Warriors, in position to break the Chicago Bulls record for the most wins in a season, lost last night. Now, the Warriors need to win each of their final four games to become the winningest team in NBA single season history.
