GOP Candidates Refuse To Commit Support To Nominee
All three of the Republican candidates for president no longer say they’ll support the person the party chooses as its standard bearer.
FOX’s Tonya J. Powers has details:
One by one, they backed off their previous pledge to support the eventual nominee…
(Kasich) “If the nominee is somebody that I think is really hurting the country and dividing the country, I can’t stand behind them.”
…John Kasich making it clear on CNN’s Town Hall in Milwaukee.
Ted Cruz agreed, saying he’s not in the habit of supporting someone who attacks his family.
(Cruz) “I think our wives, I think our kids should be off limits.”
And front-runner Donald Trump…
(Trump) “No, I don’t anymore, look… No. We’ll see who it is.”
It seems to be something they can all agree on… A week before voters go to the polls in Wisconsin.
