Israel Prime Minister Cancels Trip to Washington
The leader of Israel will not visit Washington later this month as planned.
FOX’s Rachel Sutherland reports from Washington:
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu was set to come to the nation’s capital during the American-Israel Political Affairs Committee’s annual conference.
The White House said it was surprised to learn Netanyahu had canceled the trip, and denied an Israeli media report that claimed the administration was unable to arrange a meeting between the Prime Minister and the President.
The White House said the two leaders were expected to meet on March 18.
