Police Chase Down a 74-Year-Old Woman in Texas

Police were stunned to see who the driver of a car was after a chase lasting an hour came to an end.

The cops in Huntsville, Texas, got a 911 call about a car driving south on I-45 through the town about an hour north of Houston with no lights on. When they tried to pull the vehicle over, it took off at a high rate of speed.

That chase lasted a full hour, it only ended after cops used spikes to blow out the car’s tires. Police though, shocked when they saw who they’d been chasing. It was a 74-year-old woman! Instead of taking her to jail though, they called EMs to take her to the hospital.

Police say she appeared lost and confused and suspect she was suffering from a medical condition.
