Negotiator Isn’t Optimistic About Peace Talks in Syria

A Syrian opposition negotiator says he’s not optimistic about peace talks in Syria.

FOX’s Jessica Golloher has the details:

Mohammed Alloush is with Jaysh al-Islam, a major Syrian rebel group.

He says from our point of view, there is no optimism or good intention to reach a solution.

Alloush speaking before a government delegation arrived in Geneva to meet special envoy to Syria Staffan de Mistura to discuss humanitarian issues in Syria.

Meanwhile, Syria’s official news agency says government forces have retaken a village north of Aleppo, opening the way for further advances around the country’s second largest city.

Both Syria’s government and the opposition have accused each other of bad faith.

The opposition has claimed sieges by Syria and Russia must stop before peace talks can begin.
