Rick Perry Endorses Ted Cruz

Republican Presidential candidate Ted Cruz has picked up an endorsement from a Republican who dropped out of the GOP race.

FOX’s�Rachel Sutherland reports from Washington:

Former Republican Presidential candidate and former Texas Governor Rick Perry is throwing his support behind Ted Cruz… telling “Politico” he’s more conservative than Trump,�who, meanwhile, continues to raise the issue of Cruz’s birthplace.

(Trump)�”There are a lot of people now that are saying he was born in Canada, he was born on Canada soil, and he cannot run.”

A week before the Iowa caucuses, new FOX polls show Trump surging ahead of Ted Cruz in the state,
34 to 23 percent. Trump also has a double digit lead in New Hampshire.
