An independent investigation begins into the Flint, Michigan water crisis as residents hope for a long term fix.
FOX's Jeff Monosso reports:
Michigan's attorney general taps former heads of the FBI to lead an independent investigation into Flint's water crisis to prevent potential conflicts of interest amid scores of water-related lawsuits against the state and governor.
Meantime the National Guard remains in Flint delivering bottled water for residents to drink, cook, and bathe with and residents tell us they're grateful.
(Lady) "I thank you all so much and may God bless each and every one of you all, thank you!"
Grateful for the short term fix ad praying for a long-term solution, which may mean replacing Flint's lead pipes that were damaged when the financially struggling city switched from Detroit water to water from the corrosive Flint River two years ago.
