A public university in Florida is agreeing to pay a hefty settlement to a woman who once accused the school's star quarterback of sexually assaulting her.
FOX's Eben Brown reports from Miami:
Florida State University will be paying $950,000 to Erica Kinsman, the woman who has publicly identified herself as the accuser of the school's former star quarterback Jameis Winston. Winston was the subject of both a campus and police sex assault investigation, but no charges were filed.
Kinsman's settlement ends a lawsuit she filed against FSU under Title IX. She continues to sue Winston personally in a Florida court.
Winston has since been a No. 1 NFL draft pick, signing with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
