Trump is still on top, according to the latest FOX News poll, but he’s also the one Republicans would most likely not vote for.
FOX’s Jessica Rosenthal explains:
The latest FOX News poll shows Donald Trump is still very much on top with Republican voters with 34%. Ted Cruz trails in second with 20%. Marco Rubio at 11%.
But when asked which candidate they would not vote for against a Democrat, 15% of Republican said Trump, 10% said Jeb Bush. Trump has gone after Cruz lately by attacking the fact that he was born to a U.S. citizen mother, but in Canada, Trump said that’s not quite legal.
88% of Republican voters said Cruz’s birthplace did not matter to them and 61% of all voters said it didn’t matter.
