Man Plotting New Year’s Eve Attack in Rochester New York Arrested

He wanted to kill people partying on New Year’s Eve. A New York man under arrest for a terror plot inspired by ISIS.

    FOX’s Gurnal Scott reports:

Emanuel Lutchman of Rochester is accused of providing support to ISIS. Anti-terrorism investigators say Lutchman, a self-professed convert to Islam, was directed to carry out an attack at a bar and restaurant in his hometown as people gathered to celebrate the New Year.

The FBI tracked Lutchman’s actions with an accomplice working undercover, who helped him buy knives and a machete for the planned assault.

He was arrested yesterday and had an initial appearance in federal court this morning. If convicted, he faces 20 years in prison.
