A big increase in the number of migrants entering Europe from last year.
FOX's Simon Owen has details:
The number of migrants arriving in Europe this year has now passed the one million mark.
This according to the UN's refugee agency and the International Organization for Migration -- after counting arrivals by land and sea in six countries, including Greece and Italy. It's a four-fold increase on last year.
Half the people counted were Syrians, 20% Afghans, and 7% Iraqis.
And on top of those that made it, the organizations saying some 3,600 people died or went missing en route.
