ISIS strikes again in Iraq, but this latest offensive hit a coalition wall…
FOX’s Alastair Wanklyn in our Asia bureau has the story:
FOX learning a surprise attack by up to 500 ISIS fighters near Mosul in Iraq turned into a slaughter and a rout.
Kurdish forces and U.S. air support killing over 180 ISIS fighters in a battle that lasted nearly 40 hours, military officials tell FOX News.
It ended yesterday and was the largest battle in the area in the past six months.
One official saying it’s an example of how ISIS is suffering defeats across Iraq and Syria.
