Republicans Prepare to Battle President Obama’s Environmental Regulations
Republicans in Congress are warning they’ll do what they can to prevent President Obama from enforcing new environmental regulations.
FOX News’ Jared Halpern has more from Capitol Hill:
Wrapping up a two day global climate change summit in Paris, President Obama said there’s one way to bring down greenhouse gasses…
(President Obama) “I have long believed the most elegant way to drive innovation and to reduce carbon emissions is to put a price on it.”
A cap-and-trade suggestion the President concedes is unlikely to win favor from Republicans here…
(Ryan) “When you weigh the cost and benefits from these so-called legally binding obligations, they don’t add up.”
House Speaker Paul Ryan thinks any deal that comes out of Paris will be disapproved in the House.
