Tim McGraw talks about his new album and Chris Stapleton… Carrie Underwood wants to do a duet with a 90’s rock star and the American Country Music countdown gets a new date.

We caught up with Tim McGraw recently to talk about the country music stars latest album ‘Damn Country Music,’ McGraw says besides being a big fan of 70’s music…
(McGraw) “I’m Merle Haggard fan, I’m a big Keith Whitley fan, I’m a big fan of George Strait, but I also like the music the guys are making today.”
The country star said all of that is on the latest album, he also got spoke about Chris Stapleton, who wowed country music fans at this months CMA’s…
(McGraw) “Chris is a great guy, he’s great songwriter, and when you listen to him sing, it’s just such a quality of singer that is rare to find.”
Even Adele did one of Stapleton’s songs, she covered ‘If It Hadn’t Been for Love’ for the bonus edition of her album ’21.’ Now that would be a combo to watch right? Adele and Stapleton..
Meantime who do you think Carrie Underwood would like to do a duet with? Underwood tells E! that she “really want to sing” with Axl Rose…
And country music fans looking forward to the American Country Countdown Awards will have to wait a little bit longer. The awards show held last December, according to The Tennessean, has been postponed until the Spring of 2016.
