Portland public schools says it was dirtier than just dirty dancing that forced it to cancel a high school dance.

FOX's Joe Chiaro reports:

The school district says students at Cleveland High School were told at the beginning of the school year their behavior at the homecoming dance would determine if there'd be anymore dances...

But a spokeswoman for Portland public schools says things got pretty bad... In fact, she says, it was over the top and sexual in nature. The district says some kids were even harassed and inappropriately approached.

So, the school's winter semi-formal is canceled. But some students say administrators went too far, punishing everyone for the actions of a few.
